Greger Tönnberg charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Greger Tönnberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tidans P92 booed when Hovås was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Greger Tönnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dan Lund came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Tidans P92 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Lund couldn't finish the play. Malin Overdal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sonny Vollander having to make a save. Vilgot Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hovås's Sonny Vollander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilgot Nilsson in the 19th minute of play. Sonny Vollander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilgot Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tolga Nihat to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Tidans P92's Vilgot Nilsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sonny Vollander. That made the score 0-1 after 51 minutes of play. Tidans P92 were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Hovås's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Per-Åke Brandt took the corner. The corner led Tidans P92's Per-Åke Brandt to fire away a dangerous shot which Sonny Vollander despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Vilgot Nilsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Sonny Vollander made a huge save. Vilgot Nilsson took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sonny Vollander. Sonny Vollander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Lund in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sonny Vollander saved Hovås from getting behind. In the 81st minute Tolga Nihat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Odén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Billock struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Aleksander Odén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hovås. Aleksander Odén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Billock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Tidans P92 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
