Ren Mur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Åke Termander went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ren Mur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Åke Termander, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Karl-Åke Termander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Djurgårdens IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Åke Termander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Åke Termander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ren Mur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Djurgårdens IF's Karl-Åke Termander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ren Mur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The South Park players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Djurgårdens IF were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Karl-Åke Termander made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Karl-Åke Termander took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Ren Mur to make any attempt to save it. 60 minutes into the game, Karl-Åke Termander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Djurgårdens IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave South Park the free kick. 63 minutes into the game, Karl-Åke Termander recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ren Mur. Karl-Åke Termander showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. If Hieronim Posadzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. South Park made a substitution. Jörgen Eliasson replaced Roy Pettersson. South Park's Wiktor Pihlblad was substituted for Per-Olof Örtendal. Marcus Botvidsson scored 0-5 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ren Mur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Charles Lennartsson hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, South Park's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Lövskog came free, but Ren Mur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Björklund during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Vinström got free with Ren Mur in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute Roy Lövskog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ren Mur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yngve Fredriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörgen Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Djurgårdens IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
