Spectators: 7740 (Terracing: 5806, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) Metalducks's Jon Eklund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11thth minute of the game Morgan Kilberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Larsberg's Jens-Ove Olsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, Morgan Kilberg made a precise shot to the right of Jens-Ove Olsson. Larsberg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 18 minutes into the game, Jon Eklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jens-Ove Olsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute, Morgan Kilberg made a precise shot to the right of Jens-Ove Olsson. Larsberg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 27th minute Jon Eklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ove Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Ove Olsson came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Metalducks's Jon Eklund. But to his dismay, Jon Eklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Ersin Olgun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens-Ove Olsson having to make a save. In the 43rd minute, Morgan Kilberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Metalducks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. In the 48thth minute of the game Jon Eklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Larsberg's Jens-Ove Olsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Metalducks were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Richard Dahlbom made the kick off in the second half. If Michael Lidström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Metalducks's Michael Lidström quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Börje Sjöström, made in the 53rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Larsberg's Tim Wennersten got a free kick in the 56th minute. It was a well-played corner which Jon Eklund managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evren Düden in the 64th minute of play forced Larsberg's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Michael Lidström came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Metalducks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Lidström couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Larsberg's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Olsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aron Nyberg. Jens-Ove Olsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jon Eklund in the 69th minute. Jens-Ove Olsson stood somewhat misplaced when Morgan Kilberg came free in front of goal and shot 0-9 to the left of him in the 74 minute. Metalducks's Greger Skröder was substituted for Jon Eklund. Aron Nyberg in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jens-Ove Olsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 84th minute of the match, Greger Skröder got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jens-Ove Olsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Arvin Ryberg hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Jens-Ove Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morgan Kilberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute of the match Metalducks got a corner. Larsberg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tony Modig ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tony Modig made a great header on Metalducks's corner, it was just that Larsberg's Jens-Ove Olsson managed to reach the ball for a save. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Jens-Ove Olsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Metalducks's Greger Skröder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jens-Ove Olsson. That made the score 0-10 after 90 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Metalducks left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Larsberg.
