Granarna's Mattias Valström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Thorsberg in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, Trollhättan's Frank Bennet got control of the ball when Christian Skoglund tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Trollhättan defense, Béla Borelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frank Bennet. The Trollhättan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank Bennet should have stopped the shot. Frank Bennet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Skoglund in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Granarna's Béla Borelli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When Jan-Åke Lindblom came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Granarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Åke Lindblom couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Skoglund in the 25th minute of play forced Trollhättan's goalkeeper Frank Bennet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Béla Borelli got free with Frank Bennet in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Trollhättan's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Skoglund came free, but Frank Bennet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Béla Borelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Bennet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trollhättan's Frank Bennet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Trollhättan from getting a goal against them. Frank Bennet was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Måns Beckeman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Skoglund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jan-Åke Lindblom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frank Bennet having to make a save. In the 69th minute of the match, Folke Thorsberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mattias Valström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Granarna's Béla Borelli got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Skoglund in the 74th minute of play forced Trollhättan's goalkeeper Frank Bennet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 played minutes, Trollhättan's Vidar Arvidsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mattias Valström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Trollhättan reached it. In the 92nd match minute, Trollhättan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Söderqwist to maneuver through the defense. Frank Bennet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Skoglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
