The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Ulrik Ek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Palle Bødinni. Ulrik Ek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Tor Ingemarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Berg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Behrn Arena IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bengt-Rune Sandström in the 10th minute. Tor Ingemarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Berg in the 11th minute of play. Kurt Berg struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Tor Ingemarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Behrn Arena IF. In the 16th minute, Herman Bogren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Ersman kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Kurt Berg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tor Ingemarsson was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, Grunden Bois's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Berg came free, but Tor Ingemarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tor Ingemarsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Berg's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Herman Bogren hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Grunden Bois's zone, Reine Benet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tor Ingemarsson came out of the goal and Reine Benet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Paulo Falcão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Palle Bødinni. Behrn Arena IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Falcão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Charles-Henri Briat charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles-Henri Briat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Behrn Arena IF getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Charles-Henri Briat hit a great ball. Paulo Falcão took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Palle Bødinni. Palle Bødinni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrik Ek in the 48th minute of play forced Behrn Arena IF's goalkeeper Palle Bødinni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulrik Ek to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Falcão in the 52nd minute of play forced Behrn Arena IF's goalkeeper Palle Bødinni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Behrn Arena IF's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Falcão came free, but Palle Bødinni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grunden Bois's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michael Ersman in the 56th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Paulo Falcão got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 4-0. 57 minutes into the match. Hubert Persson hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game was made by Niclas Hedvall with Leontin Duca as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 66th minute Paulo Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Palle Bødinni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Rosalio scored 4-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tor Ingemarsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Tor Ingemarsson managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Behrn Arena IF's Kurt Berg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Reine Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Kenny Ekeroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palle Bødinni came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Grunden Bois's Ulrik Ek. But to his dismay, Ulrik Ek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Kurt Berg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Tor Ingemarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Reine Benet came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Behrn Arena IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reine Benet couldn't finish the play. Reine Benet hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Kurt Berg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Tor Ingemarsson made a huge save. Grunden Bois were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Behrn Arena IF for a fine match.
