In the 11th minute Tord Alberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Palle Bødinni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Behrn Arena IF's Kurt Berg in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Konrad Pålsson kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Berg in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stewart Tongs saved Vänersborg SC from getting behind. After 23 played minutes Vänersborg SC got a freekick which was hit by Örjan Magnusson. In the 25th minute, Kenny Wiberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Behrn Arena IF's Bengt-Rune Sandström got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stewart Tongs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Berg, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Berg in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stewart Tongs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Canor Sans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Palle Bødinni made a huge save. In the 36thth minute of the game Kurt Berg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vänersborg SC's Stewart Tongs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kurt Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Tongs having to interfere. Tord Alberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stewart Tongs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Berg in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Vänersborg SC's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Berg came free, but Stewart Tongs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Behrn Arena IF were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Vänersborg SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bengt-Rune Sandström took the corner. The corner ended in Bengt-Rune Sandström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vänersborg SC's Stewart Tongs did a great save. With a little luck, Vänersborg SC's Stewart Tongs got control of the ball when Reine Benet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Behrn Arena IF's Palle Bødinni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tord Alberg in the 57th minute of play. The Behrn Arena IF fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Behrn Arena IF's Kurt Berg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Palle Bødinni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobbo Viking in the 66th minute of the match. Kurt Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Tongs having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Kurt Berg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Stewart Tongs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76thth minute of the game Canor Sans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Behrn Arena IF's Palle Bødinni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Kurt Berg put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Stewart Tongs. Palle Bødinni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tord Alberg's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Pedro Rosalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 minutes Behrn Arena IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gualterio Encina who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Vänersborg SC's corner Gualterio Encina fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Palle Bødinni quite easily take care of the ball. Kurt Berg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Stewart Tongs skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
