Torsten Holmgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ian Ström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torsten Holmgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Rune Kellberg in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ian Ström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Segmon IF's Robert Dubiel in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Agunnaryd IF's goalie prevented a goal. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Segmon IF! The referee gave Agunnaryd IF a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rune Ekenberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Segmon IF's Ian Ström. 1-0. Segmon IF's Ian Ström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Segmon IF from getting a goal against them. Rune Kellberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Ian Ström made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars-Erik Lidström in the 22nd minute of play forced Agunnaryd IF's goalkeeper Nathanial Duckworth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agunnaryd IF's Rune Kellberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Segmon IF. Torsten Holmgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Segmon IF's Robert Dubiel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nathanial Duckworth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Agunnaryd IF booed when Segmon IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars-Erik Lidström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Robert Dubiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathanial Duckworth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rune Kellberg succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. After 42 played minutes Segmon IF got a freekick which was hit by Magdaleno Prats. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Ian Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Holmgren in the 52nd minute of the match. Agunnaryd IF's attentive Petter Viklund managed to snatch the ball when Hannes Haraldsson made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. When Agunnaryd IF's Rune Kellberg in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Segmon IF's goalie prevented a goal. Ian Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Holmgren in the 57th minute of play. When Rune Kellberg came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Agunnaryd IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rune Kellberg couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Tom Hedlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lars-Erik Lidström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Nathanial Duckworth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Eskil Sefastsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Dubiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Segmon IF's Lars-Erik Lidström got a free kick in the 69th minute. Hannes Haraldsson kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Agunnaryd IF's Torsten Holmgren in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Segmon IF's goalie prevented a goal. Torsten Holmgren charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torsten Holmgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Agunnaryd IF got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Holmgren. Robert Dubiel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nathanial Duckworth came out and tried to block the shot, but Robert Dubiel slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 81st minute. In the 92nd minute of the match, Robert Dubiel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nathanial Duckworth saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 95 played minutes Segmon IF got a freekick which was hit by Lars-Erik Lidström. For all the effort they put into the match, the Segmon IF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Agunnaryd IF.
