Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) St. Mellansjö FC's Sven-Arne Apelqvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Gösta Dahlquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the game, Åke Fredriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Peter Sikström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peter Sikström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Torbjörn Modig showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. In the 12th minute, Torbjörn Modig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Åke Fredriksson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Peter Sikström, 3-0. 22 minutes into the match, St. Mellansjö FC's Sven-Arne Apelqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulf Anundsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Burträsk IF's Roland Enström got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Fredrik Arenstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. St. Mellansjö FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredrik Arenstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulf Anundsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th match minute, Burträsk IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Fredriksson to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes Burträsk IF got a freekick which was hit by Petter Tolsson. It was beautiful to see St. Mellansjö FC's Peter Björklund in action when he in the 28th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Åke Fredriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Peter Sikström made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, St. Mellansjö FC's goalkeeper Peter Sikström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Åke Fredriksson. Peter Sikström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Modig, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 39 minutes, Åke Fredriksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burträsk IF and the St. Mellansjö FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Burträsk IF's Åke Fredriksson got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Åkerström in the 46th minute of play forced St. Mellansjö FC's goalkeeper Peter Sikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

54 minutes into the match, St. Mellansjö FC's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Fredriksson came free, but Peter Sikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Torbjörn Modig sped through St. Mellansjö FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Peter Sikström. Åke Fredriksson was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of St. Mellansjö FC booed when Burträsk IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Fredriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 played minutes Burträsk IF got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Åkerström. Peter Sikström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Åkerström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torbjörn Modig scored 5-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Sikström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of St. Mellansjö FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Burträsk IF:s goal. The referee gave Burträsk IF a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Petter Tolsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of St. Mellansjö FC's Peter Sikström. 6-0. In the 77th minute Torbjörn Modig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute Edwin Österberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torbjörn Modig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Sikström having to interfere. Peter Sikström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johannes Åkerström went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute, Oskar Rolfsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torbjörn Modig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Burträsk IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
