The throw-in from Greger Holmberg in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Grängesberg FK's Gustaf Norberg. After having played for 18 minutes, Henrik Albohm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grängesberg FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrik Albohm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gösta Forsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernando Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Ian Lind notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vegetarianerna United's Gösta Forsberg. Gösta Forsberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaf Norberg in the 24th minute of play forced Vegetarianerna United's goalkeeper Gösta Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Gernando Quadros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, Ian Lind made a precise shot to the right of Gösta Forsberg. Vegetarianerna United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Gernando Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grängesberg FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gernando Quadros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gösta Forsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Vegetarianerna United defense, Gernando Quadros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gösta Forsberg. The Vegetarianerna United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gösta Forsberg should have stopped the shot. Ludwig Wenerdahl kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Grängesberg FK's Henrik Albohm broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Börje Göransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henrik Albohm made a kick off. Bror Fransson's late challenge caught a Grängesberg FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bror Fransson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vegetarianerna United getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Bror Fransson hit a great ball. If Gernando Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gösta Forsberg was a little too slow when Gustaf Norberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-5. Grängesberg FK's attentive Fabian Ekrot managed to snatch the ball when Greger Holmberg made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Ahlroth in the 62nd minute of play forced Grängesberg FK's goalkeeper Emanuel Vall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gernando Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Forsberg having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Gustaf Norberg notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Vegetarianerna United's Gösta Forsberg. Gösta Forsberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ludwig Wenerdahl kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Henrik Albohm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gösta Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Lind, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Henrik Albohm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Gösta Forsberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gernando Quadros's late challenge caught a Vegetarianerna United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Henrik Albohm made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 86thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Gösta Forsberg would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 87th match minute, Grängesberg FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Quadros to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Olof Ahlroth in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Vall saved Grängesberg FK from getting behind. In the 89th minute, Bror Fransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Olof Ahlroth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Vall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Carl Morat hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Gösta Forsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Lind in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Grängesberg FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vegetarianerna United.
