Rickard Algren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Torbjörn Grep in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dag Säfström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torbjörn Grep got free with Dag Säfström in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torbjörn Grep who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Dag Säfström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 36th match minute, Sollebrunn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaj Bengtsson to maneuver through the defense. Kaj Bengtsson scored 0-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rickard Algren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Torbjörn Grep recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicu Panaite in the 46th minute of play forced Ninjas FK's goalkeeper Rickard Algren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ninjas FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sollebrunn IF were winning 0-3.

After 50 played minutes Sollebrunn IF got a freekick which was hit by Jon Åström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Galen Kult in the 53rd minute of play forced Sollebrunn IF's goalkeeper Dag Säfström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dag Säfström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Grep, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 59 played minutes Sollebrunn IF got a freekick which was hit by Sten Nordstedt. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when Nils-Emil Finman put in a rough tackle. Sollebrunn IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ninjas FK the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sollebrunn IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! When Torbjörn Grep got free in front of the goal in the 96th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Dag Säfström was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ingemar Kaxe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dag Säfström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 100th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sollebrunn IF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
