Trandareds SK's Jonny Falk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Trandareds SK from getting a goal against them. Johannes Odman struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Jonny Falk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kvillinge FF. In the 44th minute Göran Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonny Falk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 56 played minutes Kvillinge FF got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Rosin. Trandareds SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Unesson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Trandareds SK's Jonny Falk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Rosin in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Trandareds SK's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Kvist came free, but Jonny Falk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kvillinge FF's goalkeeper Luís Fernando do Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Kvist in the 75th minute of play forced Trandareds SK's goalkeeper Jonny Falk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Erland Haström fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trandareds SK's protests and gave Erland Haström a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee ended the match the Kvillinge FF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
