Ivan Theodore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zebastian Skoog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragnar Bocklund in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, RINGSTORPSHÖJDENS FC's Olov Lilja got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind RINGSTORPSHÖJDENS FC's goalkeeper Zebastian Skoog, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Assyriska FF's Per-Oskar Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulrik Åhlberg in the 24th minute of play. Ragnar Bocklund might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zebastian Skoog. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ragnar Bocklund ran back to his position shaking his head. Zebastian Skoog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agne Kellman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agne Kellman struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Zebastian Skoog didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Assyriska FF. After a defensive mix-up in RINGSTORPSHÖJDENS FC's zone, Gert Lindholm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zebastian Skoog came out of the goal and Gert Lindholm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Assyriska FF's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Åhlberg came free, but Per-Oskar Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agne Kellman made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Agne Kellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zebastian Skoog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zebastian Skoog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Theodore in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to RINGSTORPSHÖJDENS FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Matthias Winström hit a great ball. Agne Kellman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zebastian Skoog having to interfere. Ulrik Åhlberg hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Olov Lilja made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Assyriska FF's Ivan Theodore. Assyriska FF were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
