Börge Nyberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicklas Malmberg in the 23rd minute of the match. IFE ELFSBORG were furious when Adam Heggert was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Holmsveden IFK's goalkeeper Börge Nyberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Arne Gustavsson to make the kick off. IFE ELFSBORG's Gabriel Valrot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save IFE ELFSBORG from getting a goal against them.
