Tim Nyberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Dolfo Olmos took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Gabriel Valrot to make any attempt to save it. The corner led IFE ELFSBORG's Nicklas Malmberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Tim Nyberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Benny Benno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Valrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dolfo Olmos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Carlos Caldeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nicklas Malmberg came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the IFE ELFSBORG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicklas Malmberg couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Real Calle's zone, Lucas Berggren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Nyberg came out of the goal and Lucas Berggren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Ian Blixt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Calle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. A collision led to Real Calle getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ian Blixt hit a great ball.
