Holmsveden IFK's Börge Nyberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Julin in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Åhus Absolut F.C's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Juhlin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Arne Gustavsson. Jan-Åke Juhlin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aleksander Brummer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Julin in the 34th minute of play forced Holmsveden IFK's goalkeeper Börge Nyberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Honu Ng made a precise shot to the right of Börge Nyberg. Holmsveden IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Per Olofsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honu Ng was the one to do the kick off. Börge Nyberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils-Åke Wickander in the 51st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Nils-Åke Wickander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Börge Nyberg. That made the score 2-2 in the 51 minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Holmsveden IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. Börge Nyberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honu Ng in the 57th minute of play. When 肖海骋 fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holmsveden IFK's protests and gave 肖海骋 a yellow card for diving instead.
