Holmsveden IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksander Brummer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Axel Simonsson to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aleksander Brummer got free with Doriva de Godoi in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Doriva de Godoi made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Sven-Arne Gustavsson sent off a good shot on target. Holmsveden IFK played a much better game than Bacardi Juniors and deserved their victory. The Bacardi Juniors players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
