Tim Nyberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Hedström in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Melchester Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Benny Benno came free, but Sven-Ove Helström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Tom Hedström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tim Nyberg. Tom Hedström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Sven-Ove Helström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Benno in the 32nd minute of play. Melchester Rovers's Sven-Ove Helström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benny Benno in the 35th minute of play. Sven-Ove Helström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timmy Krusfeldt went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Benny Benno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Rodić in the 45th minute of play forced Real Calle's goalkeeper Tim Nyberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The supporters of Melchester Rovers booed when Real Calle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dolfo Olmos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real Calle's Tim Nyberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by August Lövkvist in the 54th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Barros Colsa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sven-Ove Helström. That made the score 2-3 in the 69 minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match, Benny Benno tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sven-Ove Helström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Real Calle's Tim Nyberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Eliasson in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Real Calle getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Rasmus Ahlstedt hit a great ball. In the 95th minute Rasmus Ahlstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Ove Helström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Calle's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
