The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leo Viklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vedad Ibišević in the 2nd minute of the match. Leo Viklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Axelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vedad Ibišević struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Leo Viklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STHLM södra. FC Finskalejonet's Leo Viklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vedad Ibišević in the 15th minute of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Claudinho Recife who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STHLM södra's Viktor Rosendahl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. STHLM södra's attentive Eskil Bryngelsson managed to snatch the ball when August Wiman made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Paolo Pazzini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paolo Pazzini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in STHLM södra's zone, Karl-Michael Dahlquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Rosendahl came out of the goal and Karl-Michael Dahlquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vedad Ibišević might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Viklund. The tension between the FC Finskalejonet and the STHLM södra players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes FC Finskalejonet got a freekick which was hit by kaya Yilmaz. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. STHLM södra had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
