In the 16th match minute, La Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarl Bröms to maneuver through the defense. Johan Lööf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Theissen in the 17th minute of play. Johan Lööf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Theissen in the 18th minute of the match. With a little luck, Blågula BollAtleter's Tom Vandendriessche got control of the ball when Alexander Biörling tried to sneak it across the goal line. Börge Sellberg hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match, Giacomo Casanova got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tom Vandendriessche was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 27th minute of the match La Boys got a corner. Blågula BollAtleter's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexander Biörling ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on La Boys's corner Alexander Biörling fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tom Vandendriessche quite easily take care of the ball. In the 31st match minute, La Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giacomo Casanova to maneuver through the defense. When Paul Theissen came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Blågula BollAtleter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Theissen couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute Bernt Hedling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Vandendriessche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giacomo Casanova stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roger Grep got free with Johan Lööf in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Biörling in the 54th minute of play forced La Boys's goalkeeper Johan Lööf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Blågula BollAtleter getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Tomas Biörling hit a great ball. In the 60th minute of the match Alexander Biörling sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tom Vandendriessche skillfully saved the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Blågula BollAtleter's goal looked a bit too open when Giacomo Casanova came free, but Tom Vandendriessche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 played minutes Paul Theissen rounded La Boys's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Roger Grep fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Lööf having to interfere. After having played for 74 minutes, Valdemar Wennerström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blågula BollAtleter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdemar Wennerström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henric Vallander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Johan Lööf made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Paul Theissen sent off a good shot on target. Paul Theissen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Johan Lööf made a huge save. Johan Lööf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Theissen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, La Boys's Jarl Bröms got a free kick in the 86th minute. Johan Lööf made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Henry Bergkvist sent off a good shot on target. Blågula BollAtleter were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over La Boys's much stronger midfield.
