Karl-Oskar Lundkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Camargo, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Waldir Camargo succeeded in the game's 5th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 8 minutes into the game, Waldir Camargo lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Karl-Oskar Lundkvist. Edgar Brask blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Oskar Lundkvist having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Bergby BF's Waldir Camargo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karl-Oskar Lundkvist. That made the score 3-0 after 13 minutes of play. Kent Ekerot who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Karl-Oskar Lundkvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Karl-Oskar Lundkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldir Camargo's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Bergby BF got a corner. Mjällby AIF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kent Ekerot ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 29th minute, Waldir Camargo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Karl-Oskar Lundkvist, passed just outside the right post. Bergby BF's Kent Ekerot came free and shot a quick shot against goal 30 minutes in the game, fortunately Karl-Oskar Lundkvist had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 31st minute Bergby BF were awarded a corner. Kent Ekerot went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Brian Hellqvist got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 6-0. 31 minutes into the match. If Emil Söderström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bergby BF's Waldir Camargo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 37th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Ekerot in the 45th minute of play forced Mjällby AIF's goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Lundkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A long shot from Brian Hellqvist in the 48th minute of play was well struck, but Karl-Oskar Lundkvist made a really good save at the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eric Pålsson to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Kent Ekerot shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl-Oskar Lundkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Waldir Camargo sped through Mjällby AIF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karl-Oskar Lundkvist. Leif Eilsfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Tage Dahlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wasyl Lap having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Torgny Hökqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Waldir Camargo put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Karl-Oskar Lundkvist. Waldir Camargo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Oskar Lundkvist having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Mjällby AIF's zone, Waldir Camargo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Oskar Lundkvist came out of the goal and Waldir Camargo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl-Oskar Lundkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Brask in the 74th minute of play. When Bergby BF's Waldir Camargo in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mjällby AIF's goalie prevented a goal. Waldir Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Karl-Oskar Lundkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Tage Dahlberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mjällby AIF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-1. The audience was convinced that Waldir Camargo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Oskar Lundkvist was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Leif Eilsfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Karl-Oskar Lundkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
