The referee ignored Blågula BollAtleter's protests and gave Henry Bergkvist a yellow card for diving instead. Henry Bergkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Southburn City F.C.'s goalkeeper Edmund Haström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roger Grep's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmund Haström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Olaf Segarra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blågula BollAtleter's Tom Vandendriessche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Osvald Olsmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tom Vandendriessche having to make a save. When Blågula BollAtleter's Paul Theissen in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 33rdth minute of the game Paul Theissen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Southburn City F.C.'s Edmund Haström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tom Vandendriessche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, Fellipe dos Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tom Vandendriessche was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 36 played minutes Blågula BollAtleter got a freekick which was hit by Paul Theissen. Tom Vandendriessche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Demesio, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Tom Vandendriessche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Demesio in the 37th minute of play. Blågula BollAtleter's Tom Vandendriessche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Demesio in the 66th minute of play. Fellipe dos Santos hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Paul Theissen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmund Haström was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Edmund Haström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute of the match Blågula BollAtleter got a corner. Southburn City F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Biörling ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 82nd minute Paul Theissen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Haström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tom Vandendriessche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Östensson in the 93rd minute of the match. Blågula BollAtleter were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Southburn City F.C. for a fine match.
