Spectators: 8026 (Terracing: 6021, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paul Theissen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lars Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Theissen, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in spikarna's zone, Paul Theissen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Norberg came out of the goal and Paul Theissen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute Blågula BollAtleter were awarded a corner. Tomas Biörling went to the cornerflag to take it. Sven Nordkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Tom Vandendriessche made a huge save. After 26 played minutes Blågula BollAtleter got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Biörling. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Sven Nordkvist got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Kaj Hård came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the spikarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaj Hård couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute Sven Nordkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Vandendriessche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blågula BollAtleter's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Atakan Pepe was slow to take the kick. During this time spikarna's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Atakan Pepe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tom Vandendriessche quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lars Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Bergkvist in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38th minute, Joachim Ek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sven Nordkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tom Vandendriessche came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by spikarna's Kaj Hård. But to his dismay, Kaj Hård quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Kaj Hård made the kick off in the second half. Tom Vandendriessche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Nordkvist in the 51st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, spikarna's Niklas Söderberg got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Blågula BollAtleter's goal looked a bit too open when Kaj Hård came free, but Tom Vandendriessche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paul Theissen in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lars Norberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Blågula BollAtleter's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Biörling in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Henry Bergkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blågula BollAtleter's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Bergkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Norberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 83 minutes, Kaj Hård managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. spikarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaj Hård was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Blågula BollAtleter's Paul Theissen in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye spikarna's goalie prevented a goal. Roger Grep received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Lars Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Bergkvist struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Lars Norberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blågula BollAtleter. Lars Norberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdemar Wennerström went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.
