In the 7th minute, Andreas Söderquist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gamla Köpstad FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 15th minute, Christer Giliusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 17 minutes, Andreas Söderquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gamla Köpstad FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Söderquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Gamla Köpstad FC's Thomas Langås got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience was convinced that Jonatan Böcklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmund Haström was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Edmund Haström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Söderquist in the 27th minute of the match. Southburn City F.C.'s Edmund Haström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Böcklund in the 32nd minute of play. The corner led Gamla Köpstad FC's Andreas Söderquist to fire away a dangerous shot which Edmund Haström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 37th minute of the match Gamla Köpstad FC got a corner. Southburn City F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigge Fürst ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Vilhelm Sjöman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edmund Haström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 41 minutes into the match, Gamla Köpstad FC's Andreas Söderquist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmund Haström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 44 minutes into the game, Jonatan Böcklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Edmund Haström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albano Demesio was the one to do the kick off. Fellipe dos Santos took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henric Lundström. Henric Lundström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigge Fürst in the 55th minute of play forced Southburn City F.C.'s goalkeeper Edmund Haström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henric Lundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Segarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Gamla Köpstad FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Segarra came free, but Henric Lundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henric Lundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvald Olsmann in the 68th minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, Southburn City F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvald Olsmann to maneuver through the defense. Southburn City F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Henric Lundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Segarra in the 81st minute of play. Southburn City F.C. were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Gamla Köpstad FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ove Lindsten took the corner. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Southburn City F.C. lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
