Spectators: 8001 (Terracing: 6009, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paul Theissen started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Waldir Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Vandendriessche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tom Vandendriessche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Camargo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Tom Vandendriessche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Ekerot in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute Paul Theissen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasyl Lap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Kent Ekerot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bergby BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Ekerot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tom Vandendriessche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tom Vandendriessche didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdemar Forssell went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Henry Bergkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Wasyl Lap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Bergby BF's goalkeeper Wasyl Lap had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Theissen. With a little luck, Bergby BF's Wasyl Lap got control of the ball when Roger Grep tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 27 played minutes Blågula BollAtleter got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Ek. In the 28th minute of the match Kent Ekerot shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tom Vandendriessche showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, Valdemar Wennerström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Blågula BollAtleter's Allan Larsson got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Tom Vandendriessche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Forssell in the 33rd minute of the match. Tom Vandendriessche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Forssell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Valdemar Forssell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Vandendriessche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Bergby BF's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Grep came free, but Wasyl Lap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paul Theissen in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wasyl Lap prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blågula BollAtleter's Tom Vandendriessche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Blågula BollAtleter from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the match, Bergby BF's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Theissen came free, but Wasyl Lap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 played minutes Bergby BF got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Forssell. Paul Theissen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Paul Theissen put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wasyl Lap. In the 72nd match minute, Blågula BollAtleter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fritz Högberg to maneuver through the defense. If Henry Bergkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wasyl Lap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Theissen in the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Valdemar Forssell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tom Vandendriessche. Valdemar Forssell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After having played for 83 minutes, Roger Grep managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blågula BollAtleter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Grep was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wasyl Lap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Grep, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Brask took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tom Vandendriessche. Tom Vandendriessche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldir Camargo got free with Tom Vandendriessche in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Blågula BollAtleter's Paul Theissen in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bergby BF's goalie prevented a goal. Brian Hellqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Bergby BF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
