Bergby BF's Wasyl Lap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Demesio in the 14th minute of play. Wasyl Lap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Segarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kent Ekerots short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Jörgen Askelöf to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 19 minutes into the game, Olaf Segarra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Wasyl Lap was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25thth minute of the game Albano Demesio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bergby BF's Wasyl Lap was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a left leg Jörgen Askelöf saved Southburn City F.C. from getting behind. Wasyl Lap stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albano Demesio's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Jörgen Askelöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Eilsfeldt in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match Bergby BF got a corner. Southburn City F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kent Ekerot ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Leif Eilsfeldt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Southburn City F.C.'s Jörgen Askelöf did a great save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Southburn City F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
