With a little luck, Real Grasacticos's Didi Novaes got control of the ball when Andrew Baller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Real Grasacticos's Didi Novaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Real Grasacticos from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Lundberg in the 27th minute of play forced Finninge Fotboll's goalkeeper Åke Magnusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes, Jonathan Strand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Finninge Fotboll and the Real Grasacticos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Henning Kempf sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Real Grasacticos's Didi Novaes didn't even have to move. In the 46th minute, August Lundberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Grasacticos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrew Baller to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, August Lundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Grasacticos's supporters rose to their feet, but August Lundberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Finninge Fotboll's zone, August Lundberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åke Magnusson came out of the goal and August Lundberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eddie Hääger might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Åke Magnusson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eddie Hääger ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes into the game, August Lundberg lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Åke Magnusson. August Lundberg scored 2-4 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Åke Magnusson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isaac Sandberg hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixten Arhenius in the 74th minute of play forced Finninge Fotboll's goalkeeper Åke Magnusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Finninge Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Hääger came free, but Åke Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Eddie Hääger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Magnusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åke Magnusson made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when August Lundberg sent off a good shot on target. Raulo Remirez hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Real Grasacticos made a substitution. Reine Strandberg replaced Torbjörn Lindmark. Finninge Fotboll's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when August Lundberg scored to the left of an out of position Åke Magnusson, making the score, 2-5. In the 88th minute, Harald Telin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Hääger in the 93rd minute of play forced Finninge Fotboll's goalkeeper Åke Magnusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åke Magnusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Hääger, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Real Grasacticos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Grasacticos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
