An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt Persson in the 13th minute of play forced S.S Donatella Calcio's goalkeeper Amadeo Carrizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Åke Källberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Larsson in the 19th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Bengt Persson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeo Carrizo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Vilgot Collin kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Jon-Arne Klochkovskiy fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors's protests and gave Jon-Arne Klochkovskiy a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Boca Juniors fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Edvard Dusett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute, Bengt Persson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeo Carrizo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Jens-Åke Källberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urban Beck in the 64th minute of play. S.S Donatella Calcio's attack was well implemented in the 65th minute, but when Urban Beck was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. S.S Donatella Calcio's Amadeo Carrizo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save S.S Donatella Calcio from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the game, Edvard Dusett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boca Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.S Donatella Calcio the free kick. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Edvard Dusett hit a great ball. Boca Juniors's Isaac Billing was substituted for Harry Hedling. After 72 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Edvard Dusett. 75 minutes into the game, Jody Montoya recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amadeo Carrizo. Jody Montoya showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. S.S Donatella Calcio made a substitution. Ingvar Valler replaced Bengt-Åke Termander. Jens-Åke Källberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Larsson in the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th minute Urban Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Källberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colin McSteven made in the 86th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Olle Gullesson immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Lars Ekberg got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Boca Juniors had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
