The supporters of Hammarstrand booed when Södermalm FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marko Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vidar Kellbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Johan Hagberg in the 7th minute of play. Vidar Kellbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kåre Bocklund went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute Kåre Bocklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidar Kellbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Jörgen Tingelholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vidar Kellbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kåre Bocklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vidar Kellbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Johan Hagberg in the 20th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Hammarstrand got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Bagge. In the 22nd minute of the match Marko Nordström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vidar Kellbom skillfully saved the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Östen Ahlbom successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 34th minute of the match, Min Maja got a very nice opportunity to score, but Östen Ahlbom was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Vidar Kellbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Kvarnström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Södermalm FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Hammarstrand's Vidar Kellbom got control of the ball when Lukas Kvarnström tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Hammarstrand's goal looked a bit too open when Lukas Kvarnström came free, but Vidar Kellbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Lukas Kvarnström could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Vidar Kellbom however easily saved by the left post. Vidar Kellbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kåre Bocklund in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Karl-Johan Hagberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidar Kellbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hammarstrand's Joakim Löfgren got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Södermalm FK's Lars Nässén was substituted for Kåre Bocklund. Vidar Kellbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Södermalm FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
