Dennis Zlatanović started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, RullaBoll's Ivar Sundström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orvar Kullgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matildo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Möllgren in the 5th minute of play. After 6 played minutes RullaBoll got a freekick which was hit by Elliot Jansson. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Matildo Fillol successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Manchester City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alf Möllgren in the 8th minute. Manchester City's Richard Edström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Matildo Fillol in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Orvar Kullgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Fastesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of RullaBoll booed when Manchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Pihlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester City's goalkeeper Orvar Kullgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Manchester City's Matildo Fillol threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Karl Ström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Alf Möllgren came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Manchester City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Möllgren couldn't finish the play. Robert Pihlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Matildo Fillol made a huge save. A collision led to RullaBoll getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Elliot Jansson hit a great ball. In the 37th minute of the match, Alf Möllgren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Matildo Fillol saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Orvar Kullgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Zlatanović, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Binjamin Van Arschot hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Orvar Kullgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Zlatanović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute of the match RullaBoll got a corner. Manchester City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dennis Zlatanović ran over to the corner to take the kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Pihlberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. RullaBoll's Jens-Ola Lindberg got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Manchester City getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Hjalmar Bergström hit a great ball. Matildo Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Edström in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66thth minute of the game Dennis Zlatanović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester City's Orvar Kullgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manchester City's Orvar Kullgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Manchester City from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marc Fastesson got free with Orvar Kullgren in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on RullaBoll's corner Dennis Zlatanović fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Orvar Kullgren quite easily take care of the ball. Matildo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Möllgren in the 73rd minute of play. After 81 minutes Manchester City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dennis Zlatanović who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Manchester City's goalie and right to Ivar Sundström. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Manchester City's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester City's zone, Jan Hjeltman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orvar Kullgren came out of the goal and Jan Hjeltman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alf Möllgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matildo Fillol having to interfere. The Manchester City supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching RullaBoll's performance. The match ended with a win for RullaBoll.
