Merrill Pryor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Comunardo Iannone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filiph Hägg was a little too slow when Åke Åberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. PHammar FC's Comunardo Iannone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merrill Pryor in the 24th minute of play. Comunardo Iannone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddie Vallman in the 27th minute of the match. Henry Salqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henry Salqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes PHammar FC got a freekick which was hit by Henry Salqvist. 47 minutes into the game, Nils-Åke Gunnarsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Comunardo Iannone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With a little luck, PHammar FC's Comunardo Iannone got control of the ball when Nils-Åke Gunnarsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute Gratien Étoile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiph Hägg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PHammar FC were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Aston Villa FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roger Hydén took the corner. In the 58thth minute of the game Merrill Pryor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PHammar FC's Comunardo Iannone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute Aston Villa FC were awarded a corner. Joel Strömberg went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Joel Strömberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Comunardo Iannone quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Merrill Pryor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Comunardo Iannone was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. PHammar FC's Comunardo Iannone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merrill Pryor in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Vallman in the 65th minute of play forced PHammar FC's goalkeeper Comunardo Iannone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åke Åberg scored 2-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filiph Hägg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 72 minutes into the match, PHammar FC's goalkeeper Comunardo Iannone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roger Winström. Merrill Pryor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eddie Vallman succeeded in the game's 79th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Nils-Åke Gunnarsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 86th minute of the match Aston Villa FC got a corner. PHammar FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Strömberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Joel Strömberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Comunardo Iannone quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet as Aston Villa FC's Isaac Kalfhage slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Comunardo Iannone. That made the score 2-3 after 92 minutes of play. 95 minutes into the match, PHammar FC's goalkeeper Comunardo Iannone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils-Åke Gunnarsson. PHammar FC's Comunardo Iannone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merrill Pryor in the 97th minute of play. The PHammar FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Aston Villa FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
