Helsingborg IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eddie Åman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Helsingborg IF's Niklas Kvick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Åman in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Eddie Åman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Kvick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ted Jansson hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Gaudencio Ignazio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boruc Klimkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziemowit Wawak, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute, Christer Bruse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niklas Kvick was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Kristopher Cornell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Niklas Kvick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan Malmberg was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eddie Åman in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niklas Kvick saved Helsingborg IF from getting behind. Eddie Åman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Niklas Kvick when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eddie Åman in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niklas Kvick saved Helsingborg IF from getting behind. Niklas Kvick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddie Åman's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Helsingborg IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Christer Bruse scored to the left of an out of position Niklas Kvick, making the score, 0-7. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Niklas Kvick successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Bruse in the 68th minute of play forced Helsingborg IF's goalkeeper Niklas Kvick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 minutes Helsingborg IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pompiliu Baciu who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Främlingslegionen BK's Pompiliu Baciu to fire away a dangerous shot which Niklas Kvick despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kristopher Cornell scored 0-8 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niklas Kvick, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th match minute, Helsingborg IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixten Åhman to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the game, Eddie Åman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Niklas Kvick. Eddie Åman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. In the 95thth minute of the game Eddie Åman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Helsingborg IF's Niklas Kvick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
