Spectators: 8149 (Terracing: 6113, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 162) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mario Buhrmann started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Kral Çakır got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Erik Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Buhrmann in the 4th minute of play. Karl-Erik Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Buhrmann in the 10th minute of the match. Kim Kallstrøm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Karl-Erik Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Vännäsby BF's Jan-Erik Spetz got control of the ball when Kral Çakır tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match Vännäsby BF got a corner. Solskin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mosab Al Mansor ran over to the corner to take the kick. 21 minutes into the match, Solskin's Kral Çakır sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Erik Spetz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Solskin's attentive Per Gadd managed to snatch the ball when Mosab Al Mansor made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. Rutger Bredberg charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rutger Bredberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vännäsby BF booed when Solskin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rutger Bredberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kral Çakır took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Erik Spetz. Jan-Erik Spetz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jan-Erik Spetz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kral Çakır in the 34th minute. After 40 played minutes Vännäsby BF got a freekick which was hit by Mosab Al Mansor. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herbert Hök was the one to do the kick off. Rutger Bredberg hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Solskin's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Hellström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rickard Åberg. Jan-Erik Spetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kral Çakır, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Solskin's Karl-Erik Hellström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Solskin from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Solskin's Rutger Bredberg got a free kick in the 59th minute. Karl-Erik Hellström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kim Kallstrøm in the 60th minute. Kim Kallstrøm had several of the Solskin's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Karl-Erik Hellström as he didn't even see the shot coming. Vännäsby BF made a substitution. Hilario Chus replaced Benjamin Kinnman. Solskin made a substitution. Pietro Rizzi replaced Malte Cane. Jan-Erik Spetz came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Solskin's Kral Çakır. But to his dismay, Kral Çakır quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Solskin's Stig-Ove Arenius was substituted for Kong Feng. Kral Çakır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Solskin's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Hellström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vännäsby BF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kim Kallstrøm in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kim Kallstrøm got free with Karl-Erik Hellström in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Solskin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Kim Kallstrøm scored to the left of an out of position Karl-Erik Hellström, making the score, 2-2. When Mario Buhrmann fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vännäsby BF's protests and gave Mario Buhrmann a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes Vännäsby BF got a freekick which was hit by Mario Buhrmann. 94 minutes into the game, one of Vännäsby BF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vännäsby BF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
