In the 11th minute Andreas Hernaiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 贺德凌 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hjalmar Pettersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 贺德凌 was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Matteo Tonali's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Michael Lundin scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joar Frisck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Gotham City defense, Hjalmar Pettersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 贺德凌. The Gotham City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 贺德凌 should have stopped the shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joar Frisck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, FC NORDLAND's Joar Frisck got control of the ball when Arne Wennerqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half FC NORDLAND were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hjalmar Pettersson was the one to do the kick off. Hjalmar Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. 贺德凌 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, FC NORDLAND's 贺德凌 threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Angelillo Di Maria, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gotham City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Hjalmar Pettersson scored to the left of an out of position 贺德凌, making the score, 1-3. FC NORDLAND's Joar Frisck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matteo Tonali in the 76th minute of play. Joar Frisck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Wennerqvist in the 79th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Arne Wennerqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joar Frisck. FC NORDLAND's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arne Wennerqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 91 minutes into the match, Gotham City's Daniel Wennerström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joar Frisck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
