Främlingslegionen BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristopher Cornell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braulio Corderro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boruc Klimkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 张战彬 in the 27th minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, Främlingslegionen BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Bruse to maneuver through the defense. 张战彬 kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Mark Drake hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Olympiakos's Tobias Haraldsson got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Leigh Blake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Braulio Corderro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddie Åman's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Eddie Åman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Braulio Corderro was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Eddie Åman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner ended in Pompiliu Baciu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Olympiakos's Braulio Corderro did a great save. In the 84th match minute, Olympiakos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Norling to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, 张战彬 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eddie Åman struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Braulio Corderro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Främlingslegionen BK. Boruc Klimkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Haraldsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Unto Ilola hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Främlingslegionen BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Olympiakos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
