The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eddie Åman in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niklas Kvick saved Helsingborg IF from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Kristopher Cornell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niklas Kvick. Helsingborg IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kristopher Cornell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Niklas Kvick was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eddie Åman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. In the 15th minute, Främlingslegionen BK's Eddie Åman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Niklas Kvick. Niklas Kvick yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Niklas Kvick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Bruse in the 19th minute of the match. Helsingborg IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bengt-Arne Tönnberg in the 22nd minute. The corner led Helsingborg IF's Jan Malmberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Boruc Klimkiewicz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Helsingborg IF's Niklas Kvick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Helsingborg IF from getting a goal against them. In the 25th match minute, Främlingslegionen BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Haraldsson to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Bengt-Arne Tönnberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Helsingborg IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Arne Tönnberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boruc Klimkiewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niklas Kvick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristopher Cornell in the 27th minute of the match. Eddie Åman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Niklas Kvick 34 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Främlingslegionen BK's Eddie Åman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niklas Kvick narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Malmberg in the 41st minute of play forced Främlingslegionen BK's goalkeeper Boruc Klimkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Eddie Åman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Kvick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eddie Åman in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niklas Kvick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the match, Främlingslegionen BK's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Malmberg came free, but Boruc Klimkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikard Lange in the 54th minute of play forced Helsingborg IF's goalkeeper Niklas Kvick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niklas Kvick was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 71 minutes into the match, Helsingborg IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Skoog came free, but Niklas Kvick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niklas Kvick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kristopher Cornell went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Eddie Åman sped through Helsingborg IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Niklas Kvick. Niklas Kvick came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Främlingslegionen BK's Christer Bruse. But to his dismay, Christer Bruse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eddie Åman in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niklas Kvick saved Helsingborg IF from getting behind. Gaudencio Ignazio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niklas Kvick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddie Åman's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
