Jakob Bogren started the match with the kick off. Åke Pettersson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Harold Coenens showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Olympiakos's Leigh Blake slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Åke Pettersson. That made the score 2-0 after 11 minutes of play. Olympiakos's Braulio Corderro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Bogren in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 张战彬 in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Åke Pettersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 30 minutes, Jakob Bogren made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Olympiakos's Braulio Corderro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vilhelm Åkerman hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Braulio Corderro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Bogren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ghost Hunters's Axel Lindblom got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes Olympiakos got a freekick which was hit by Leigh Blake. In the 47th minute, Stig Frisk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Peng Bing Jun came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Ghost Hunters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peng Bing Jun couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Åke Pettersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 张战彬 in the 53rd minute of play. Ghost Hunters's Åke Pettersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leigh Blake in the 54th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Ghost Hunters's goal looked a bit too open when 张战彬 came free, but Åke Pettersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute 张战彬 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Pettersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ghost Hunters's Sven-Oskar Rocheleau was substituted for Coronel Revuelta. After a rather tough play, Ghost Hunters's Ashley Cole got a free kick in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leigh Blake in the 70th minute of play forced Ghost Hunters's goalkeeper Åke Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Axel Lindblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75thth minute of the game 张战彬 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ghost Hunters's Åke Pettersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Ghost Hunters's goal looked a bit too open when 张战彬 came free, but Åke Pettersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes Ghost Hunters got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Gökalp Usal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Olympiakos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ghost Hunters had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
