Spectators: 8036 (Terracing: 6028, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 160) Niklas Bäck started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Vallbyn FC's Krister Alfors proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Vallbyn FC from getting a goal against them. Krister Alfors made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Edvard Gunnarsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thames Ironworks FC's goalkeeper Dick Melander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th minute of the match, Niklas Bäck got a very nice opportunity to score, but Krister Alfors was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 18 minutes into the match, Vallbyn FC's Sebastian Malm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dick Melander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rickard Nilsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Krister Alfors firmly grabbed it by the left post. Krister Alfors made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niklas Bäck in the 24th minute. Krister Alfors was a little too slow when Rickard Nilsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-0. Niklas Bäck who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Krister Alfors when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Niklas Bäck in the 32nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Christian Säv struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Krister Alfors didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thames Ironworks FC. Dick Melander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Söderquist in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 50th minute Yngve Wennerquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krister Alfors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dick Melander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Söderquist in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börge Tidéksson in the 56th minute of play forced Thames Ironworks FC's goalkeeper Dick Melander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yngve Wennerquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Krister Alfors tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dick Melander made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Börge Tidéksson sent off a good shot on target. When Thames Ironworks FC's Niklas Bäck in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vallbyn FC's goalie prevented a goal. Sebastian Malm kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Vallbyn FC made a substitution. Sture Mattsson replaced Felix Söderman. Sebastian Malm hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Krister Alfors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Nilsson in the 84th minute of play. Krister Alfors came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Thames Ironworks FC's Rickard Nilsson. But to his dismay, Rickard Nilsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 88 minutes, Sandro Tonali mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vallbyn FC and the Thames Ironworks FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Vallbyn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Tonali to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Vallbyn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Bäck came free, but Krister Alfors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Thames Ironworks FC had won after a very even match.
