In the 6th minute Ercole Pellicciotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronnie Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ercole Pellicciotta in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Kåge BF's Zé Gabriel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronnie Hellström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Joxa mé trasan's goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Gabriel. 18 minutes into the match, Kåge BF's Zé Gabriel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronnie Hellström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If João Carlos Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kåge BF's Torsten Bäcklin got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Ronnie Hellström managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Kåge BF's Zé Gabriel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 28 minutes into the match, Kåge BF's goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Neto came free, but Roland Backman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, Kåge BF's Zé Gabriel made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronnie Hellström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joxa mé trasan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Zé Gabriel scored to the left of an out of position Ronnie Hellström, making the score, 2-0. 傅南辉 hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A collision led to Joxa mé trasan getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. João Carlos Neto hit a great ball. Ronnie Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Bäcklin in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Ercole Pellicciotta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ronnie Hellström. The goal made the score 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Gabriel to make the kick off. When Doyle Brunson fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joxa mé trasan's protests and gave Doyle Brunson a yellow card for diving instead. Doyle Brunson hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Roland Backman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Bronco, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 61 played minutes Joxa mé trasan got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Hellström. In the 64th match minute, Joxa mé trasan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Löfgren to maneuver through the defense. Ronnie Hellström came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Kåge BF's Zé Gabriel. But to his dismay, Zé Gabriel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Janusz Tipinski hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Ronnie Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Gabriel in the 74th minute of play. If Torsten Bäcklin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kåge BF made a substitution. Jan-Olof Bergman replaced Ercole Pellicciotta. João Carlos Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Backman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Joxa mé trasan getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Hamílton Secco hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, João Carlos Neto took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Roland Backman to make any attempt to save it. Zé Gabriel scored 5-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronnie Hellström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kåge BF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
