Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexander Bergman to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosimo Nardone got free with Dick Melander in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MIGGAN Utd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karl Sløk in the 89th minute. MIGGAN Utd's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Thames Ironworks FC had won, even though MIGGAN Utd had held more of the ball.
