FC St. Pauli's Buach Byrne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save FC St. Pauli from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute Bernt Ödman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Flaxenvik FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Billström to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute Mario Sembiring shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FC St. Pauli's Buach Byrne got control of the ball when Hugo Bergdal tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Leif Dalberg came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Flaxenvik FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leif Dalberg couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the game, FC St. Pauli's Mario Sembiring nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lennart Lindström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 47th minute Emil Enegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Flaxenvik FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC St. Pauli were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emil Enegren was the one to do the kick off. After 50 minutes, Emil Enegren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC St. Pauli and the Flaxenvik FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC St. Pauli's Emil Enegren got a free kick in the 50th minute. With a little luck, Flaxenvik FC's Lennart Lindström got control of the ball when Emil Enegren tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FC St. Pauli booed when Flaxenvik FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. With a little luck, Flaxenvik FC's Lennart Lindström got control of the ball when Emil Enegren tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Flaxenvik FC's Sixten Liljeström got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Bernt Ödman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flaxenvik FC's Lennart Lindström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Flaxenvik FC from getting a goal against them. Lennart Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Felin in the 93rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Hardo Pärtna put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Buach Byrne. FC St. Pauli's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
