After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Marco Van Der Taelen managed to get in a good position for a shot. NIKE Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Van Der Taelen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Van Der Taelen in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Di Massa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Van Der Taelen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Franco Di Massa firmly grabbed it by the left post. The corner ended in Oskar Lägdin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bergandy's Franco Di Massa did a great save. Walery Fikus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franco Di Massa having to make a save. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Van Der Taelen to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bergandy's Yngve Ferm got a free kick in the 50th minute. Sven Granberg kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Thor Ståhlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ola Wall made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Fernando das Neves sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind NIKE Academy's goalkeeper Ola Wall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Walery Fikus might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Di Massa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When Daniel Koch came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Bergandy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Koch couldn't finish the play. Daniel Koch did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Ola Wall 87 minutes into the match. Franco Di Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Van Der Taelen in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, NIKE Academy's goalkeeper Ola Wall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingvar Molander. Yngve Ferm took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ola Wall. Ola Wall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The NIKE Academy supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bergandy's performance. The match ended with a win for Bergandy.
