In the 11th minute, Jan-Olof Odman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Resarö Maffian fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Karl-Oskar Gustavsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arman Skräddare, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Arman Skräddare's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Oskar Gustavsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. De Gröna FK's Marcu Alecu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Odman in the 22nd minute of play. If Arman Skräddare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Oskar Gustavsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arman Skräddare, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute De Gröna FK were awarded a corner. Bartosz Pietrasz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to De Gröna FK's Jack Grealish getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 37th minute Anton Coja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Alecu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, De Gröna FK's Arman Skräddare got a free kick in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Resarö Maffian's Nils-Åke Häger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcu Alecu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 45th minute Arman Skräddare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Oskar Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan-Olof Odman was the one to do the kick off. Marcu Alecu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Olof Odman went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Resarö Maffian fully deserved thier win.
