In the 9th minute of the match Johannes Willig sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Max Åström skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Nyberg in the 11th minute of play forced Oldham Athletic's goalkeeper Guo Han Di to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Max Åström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Yao Ying in the 12th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Jim Sundberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guo Han Di. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. If Mattias Dahlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Strand hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Oldham Athletic were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Olsfors SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Johannes Willig took the corner. The corner ended in Johannes Willig almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Olsfors SK's Max Åström did a great save. 21 minutes into the game, Gösta Brolin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oldham Athletic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olsfors SK the free kick. The supporters of Olsfors SK booed when Oldham Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Brolin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Oldham Athletic's Zhao Yao Ying nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Max Åström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jim Sundbergs short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Guo Han Di to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 32 minutes into the match, Zhao Yao Ying had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Max Åström. Olsfors SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhao Yao Ying was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Guo Han Di showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Sundberg in the 35th minute of the match. Jim Sundberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Guo Han Di when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jim Sundberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Guo Han Di made a huge save. Max Åström came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Oldham Athletic's Zhao Yao Ying. But to his dismay, Zhao Yao Ying quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Olsfors SK made a substitution. Stellan Mossberg replaced Jonas Strand. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zhao Yao Ying stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Axelsson in the 54th minute of play forced Olsfors SK's goalkeeper Max Åström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Max Åström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Axelsson in the 57th minute of play. Olsfors SK's Max Åström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Olsfors SK from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Oldham Athletic's zone, Christian Nyberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guo Han Di came out of the goal and Christian Nyberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olsfors SK's Mikael Gustavsson was substituted for Jim Sundberg. When Olsfors SK's Mikael Gustavsson in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oldham Athletic's goalie prevented a goal. Anton Lövskog hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Guo Han Di showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Gustavsson in the 73rd minute of the match. Oldham Athletic's Guo Han Di played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Gustavsson in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Oldham Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Gustavsson came free, but Guo Han Di reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Olsfors SK's Mikael Gustavsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olsfors SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Alströmer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guo Han Di breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zhao Yao Ying came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Max Åström could save by the left post. After taking down the ball on Oldham Athletic's corner Oskar Václav fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Max Åström quite easily take care of the ball. Anxo Cecilia took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Max Åström. Max Åström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. After a rather tough play, Olsfors SK's Christian Nyberg got a free kick in the 99th minute. Oldham Athletic played a much better game than Olsfors SK and deserved their victory. The Olsfors SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
