With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Sjögren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Viggo Jönsätt kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ivan Sjögren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Norberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Zorro's goalkeeper Ivan Sjögren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 66 played minutes FC Zorro got a freekick which was hit by Sten Helström. FC Zorro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wetterqvist Boys BK the free kick. Sverker Blomberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ivan Sjögren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Wetterqvist Boys BK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Wetterqvist Boys BK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
