Manfred Tunander hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torsten Rosendahl in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arvin Skager prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arvin Skager made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Olof Albom in the 27th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gunnarskog IFK's Torsten Rosendahl slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arvin Skager. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Robert Boström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gunnarskog IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Boström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute Manfred Tunander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeriu Antohi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Nobels IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Olof Albom came free, but Arvin Skager reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Boström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Arvin Skager made a huge save. With a little luck, Nobels IF's Arvin Skager got control of the ball when Robert Boström tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jan-Olof Albom sped through Nobels IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arvin Skager. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manfred Tunander was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute of the match, Ivan Mancio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Valeriu Antohi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Manfred Tunander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Jan-Olof Albom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Skager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute Manfred Tunander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeriu Antohi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Rosendahl in the 75th minute of play forced Nobels IF's goalkeeper Arvin Skager to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnarskog IFK's Arvin Tidéksson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jimmy Rajala in the 88 minute of the game. 90 minutes into the match, Gunnarskog IFK's goalkeeper Valeriu Antohi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manfred Tunander. After 92 minutes of play, Gunnarskog IFK's Torsten Rosendahl made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arvin Skager was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nobels IF's Alexander Bryngelsson was substituted for Jan-Erik Kruuse. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gunnarskog IFK had played much better football throughout.
