The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Lars-Erik Lindsten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pil SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars-Erik Lindsten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arvin Skager breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Pil SK defense, Philip Rudkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harald Lindell. The Pil SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harald Lindell should have stopped the shot. When Pil SK's Lars-Erik Lindsten in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nobels IF's goalie prevented a goal. Arvin Skager showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Erik Lindsten in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Philip Rudkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nobels IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 16 played minutes Nobels IF got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Rydberg. In the 17th minute Lars-Erik Lindsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Skager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars-Erik Lindsten scored 2-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arvin Skager, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lars-Erik Lindsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th match minute, Nobels IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Rajala to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Jimmy Rajala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimmy Rajala made in the 35th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Emanuel Rydberg immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Rydberg in the 36th minute of play forced Pil SK's goalkeeper Harald Lindell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harald Lindell made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Philip Rudkvist sent off a good shot on target. In the 40thth minute of the game Philip Rudkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pil SK's Harald Lindell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dario Lucente's late challenge caught a Nobels IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Lucente helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nobels IF booed when Pil SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Lucente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Harald Lindell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 45 minutes into the game, Lars-Erik Lindsten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pil SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nobels IF the free kick. Lars-Erik Lindsten kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After 47 played minutes Nobels IF got a freekick which was hit by Manfred Tunander. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Manfred Tunander made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Lars-Erik Lindsten took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Arvin Skager to make any attempt to save it. Harald Lindell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Rudkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nobels IF's Manfred Tunander in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pil SK's goalie prevented a goal. Harald Lindell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Rydberg in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Pil SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hustaz Castrillo to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Pil SK's goal looked a bit too open when Philip Rudkvist came free, but Harald Lindell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars-Erik Lindsten received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arvin Skager came out and tried to block the shot, but Lars-Erik Lindsten slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Dan Västberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pil SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nobels IF the free kick. Dan Västberg kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nobels IF's zone, Lars-Erik Lindsten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvin Skager came out of the goal and Lars-Erik Lindsten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pil SK made a substitution. Torbjörn Rosendal replaced Lars-Erik Lindsten. After a rather tough play, Nobels IF's Jimmy Rajala got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Nobels IF's goalkeeper Arvin Skager had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torbjörn Rosendal. In the 89th minute, Torbjörn Rosendal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pil SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. The Nobels IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pil SK's performance. The match ended with a win for Pil SK.
