MAFFIAN's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 5thth minute of the game Jordi Leal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aron Dahlbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alens Biedriņš went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 9th minute Mats Wilander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Lindberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aron Dahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alens Biedriņš in the 11th minute of play. Gustav Levander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, MAFFIAN's Östen Vennersten got a free kick in the 15th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Jordi Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SpringPojkarnas BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jordi Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Matīss Amatnieks came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the SpringPojkarnas BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matīss Amatnieks couldn't finish the play. Jordi Leal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Aron Dahlbom made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pete Sampras in the 31st minute of play forced SpringPojkarnas BK's goalkeeper Jim Lindberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jordi Leals short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Aron Dahlbom to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 34 minutes, Vincent Linberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAFFIAN and the SpringPojkarnas BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Linberg to maneuver through the defense. Börje Hydén was slow to take the kick. During this time SpringPojkarnas BK's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Börje Hydén almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom did a great save. In the 73rd minute, Jordi Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SpringPojkarnas BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 80 minutes, Rasmus Kilberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAFFIAN and the SpringPojkarnas BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Greger Broberg kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Börje Hydén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute, Pete Sampras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 95 played minutes SpringPojkarnas BK got a freekick which was hit by David Jansson. SpringPojkarnas BK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
