Andrei Joithe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Sebastian Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reine Dahlgren took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Lindgren. Sebastian Lindgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 31 minutes into the game, Valdemar Dahlberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolltrillarnas BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RedBull Antwerpen the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Michael Lindström got free with Magne Rudkvist in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the game, Zachary Traczewski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bolltrillarnas BK's Håkan Månsson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Bolltrillarnas BK booed when RedBull Antwerpen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. After some careless play in the RedBull Antwerpen defense, Andrei Joithe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Lindgren. The RedBull Antwerpen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Lindgren should have stopped the shot. In the 67thth minute of the game Ivar Wennersten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolltrillarnas BK's Magne Rudkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. RedBull Antwerpen's Eric Hammer was substituted for Lars Högman. Bolltrillarnas BK's attentive Håkan Månsson managed to snatch the ball when Zachary Traczewski made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. Bolltrillarnas BK were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over RedBull Antwerpen's much stronger midfield.
