After a rather tough play, MAFFIAN's Patrik Zachrisson got a free kick in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Alf Ahlkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aron Dahlbom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, MAFFIAN's Mats Wilander got a free kick in the 16th minute. Patrik Zachrisson charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrik Zachrisson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Zachrisson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Ahlkvist in the 18th minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Aron Dahlbom managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Gröngölingarnas IF's Alf Ahlkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 21st minute, Luiz Fernando Leal made a precise shot to the right of Aron Dahlbom. MAFFIAN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Gert Ström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Aron Dahlbom made a huge save. Gröngölingarnas IF's Jimmy Lilja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Agassi in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Andre Agassi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Gröngölingarnas IF's Jimmy Lilja. Jimmy Lilja was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the match, Alf Ahlkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aron Dahlbom. MAFFIAN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alf Ahlkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alf Ahlkvist made a kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Alf Ahlkvist sped through MAFFIAN's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aron Dahlbom. Aron Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Ahlkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philip Hedin hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When Alf Ahlkvist came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Gröngölingarnas IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Ahlkvist couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Luiz Fernando Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gröngölingarnas IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. When Fortunato Galliani came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Gröngölingarnas IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fortunato Galliani couldn't finish the play. Aron Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Galliani in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Alf Ahlkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aron Dahlbom. MAFFIAN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alf Ahlkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Galliani in the 76th minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fortunato Galliani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alf Ahlkvist took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aron Dahlbom. Aron Dahlbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. After 82 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Östen Vennersten. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fernando Leal in the 83rd minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Svensson hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Aron Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fernando Leal in the 89th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gert Ström during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gert Ström kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Gröngölingarnas IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
