Kurt Brogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Dahlbom having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Mellbystrand IK's Kurt Brogren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aron Dahlbom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save MAFFIAN from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 17 in the game by Kurt Brogren from a close distance when the talented Aron Dahlbom managed to make a qualified save. MAFFIAN's players were relieved. Kurt Brogren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Brogren in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Dahlbom saved MAFFIAN from getting behind. The corner led Mellbystrand IK's Måns Göransson to fire away a dangerous shot which Aron Dahlbom despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 35th minute, Mellbystrand IK's Kurt Brogren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aron Dahlbom. Aron Dahlbom yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Kurt Brogren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aron Dahlbom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Brogren came free, but Aron Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurt Brogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Aron Dahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Brogren got free with Aron Dahlbom in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to MAFFIAN getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Patrik Zachrisson hit a great ball. Mellbystrand IK's Måns Göransson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for MAFFIAN. If Bernt Göransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aron Dahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Brogren in the 75th minute of play. If Kurt Brogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Andre Agassi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MAFFIAN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mellbystrand IK the free kick. A collision led to MAFFIAN getting a freekick after 79 minutes play.
